[To what? The idea that the armor the titans possess could possibly be constructed from a substance similar to diamond? Or how they can technically 'die' several times over before energy and stamina finally catch up to them?
Technically, it's all of that.]
From what we've studied, it doesn't appear that titans can die several times over. [And good thing too.] They have a very particular weak point, and so far it seems as if they all remain dead after striking said point.
[As for age, she isn't sure if it's a universal rule with all titans. While they've roamed outside the walls for several decades, the shifters themselves are capable of aging... Fascinating.]
Is it possible for all homunculi to jump from one host to the other?
A weak point? [ That definitely sets them apart from homunculi. From what he's heard, a homunculous can regenerate after being completely and utterly destroyed. ]
You know about that ...? [ That Greed is using Ling's body. Ed's a little surprised. It looks like Greed revealed quite a bit. ] No, Greed's a special case. I'm pretty sure most of them were born in their own bodies.
[ Now how does he explain this without revealing too much about the Philosopher's Stone... Okay, he'll tell her about it, but he won't tell her how to make one. ]
He's a human-based homunculous -- the Philosopher's Stone containing him was introduced into the body of my friend Ling, and Ling allowed him to take over. I'm pretty sure he can't jump to another host though.
[On the other side of the spectrum, a titan's 'weak point' is universal, and with three shifters currently in the CDC's possession, she can't take any chances with spreading that particular information around just yet. However, if Ed can be trusted...]
I'll leave that for another time.
[As for the host jumping:]
It was mentioned on his file. [By that point she's already pulling up file for Ed to scan over himself once he has a moment.] It stated that Greed was able to control another body, so I made my assumptions based on that.
[Otherwise, she listens to his explanation of why Greed is technically the exception to the rule. Unfortunately, it seems to bring up more questions than it does answers.]
What is the context of the Philosopher's Stone back in your world?
