I could throw in about 15 crossbows for the pile, and about 15 sets of 10 bolts. How does that sound? I don't want to tear up the ground too much extracting metal from it.

Could you? That would really help. Otherwise, I work by extracting the metal ores from the ground -- and the transmutations always leaves large indents in the ground behind.

[He kind of feels sorry for grey team people, but he doesn't want to say it because it seems kind of insulting. Some of them are proud of the ideas that put them there.]

[ Whenever Niko decides to visit, Ed will be in his treehouse. Below the tree is the sinister-looking mechanical dog Pop, who's guarding their small settlement. Should anyone approach, she'll get up and start barking. ]

[He calls out in warning, questioningly, long before he's at the dog. But it's followed by a grunt, as he's dragging several pieces of metal with him, and other materials from the crates. Things like plastic, hoping it can be recycled in some way.]

[He drops it not too far from Ed's tent, and just sits down with a grunt. He's generally been working his ass off. He's pretty tired.]

[ When Ed hears his voice, he'll come down from his platform to greet him. ]

Niko, right? [ They've never met in person, so he has to make sure. The materials he's bringing along is telling enough. ]

Whoa. I didn't know you saved this much. [ He'll be able to make a few sets of bolts easily from that collection. ]

We are lucky to be blessed with an earthquake that leaves us even more broken things.

[He sounds a little pissy about it, rather than actually feeling fortunate. Still, he hopes it is enough.]

I scrounged some. Most of the building places had leftovers. How does this work?

You just lay them on the floor there. [ And when Niko does, Ed brings both of his hands into a clap. He then places those hands onto the heap of raw materials.

The next thing might look a bit like magic. Electricity seems to crackle into the air, and the materials visibly break down, reconstructing themselves into another desired shape. With what Niko had brought him, he has enough to make 2 crossbows and 2 sets of 15 bolts. If the crossbows have a questionably gothic design, pay that no mind ... ]

Срање! [Holy shit, is what it translates into through the earpiece. It's impressive, magic or not, because no one in his world can do it.]

That is a pretty useful talent you have there. [He probably knows that, though.]

I'll try to go get you some more. People came in with hardly anything this time, it looks like.
